Al Gore is a prophet who lives wealthy and hypocritically off the offerings of his followers. Global warming has become a religious belief – there are believers and unbelievers, infidels and apostates, proselytes, evangelists, hypocrites and corruption. There are rituals, creeds and divination. There is blasphemy and “truth” albeit inconvenient. There is preaching, prophecy and indoctrination. There are disciples (the media), and the professors have become the high priests and apostles of evolution. Their textbooks are now Holy Writ. The faithful vow to follow no matter what the true facts may show. Abortion is the sacrament. A global Crusade is underway with converts and casualties. A Jihad has been called against the only thing in the created order that bears the image of God. The salvation of the planet is only in the extermination of people.
So much for the “separation of church and state.” So much for NOMA – the “non-overlapping magisteria” of science and religion. But then again, what do you expect, this isn’t science anymore, these are faith-based initiatives.

I realize I cannot make a dent in your rigid and inflexible beliefs, but I feel a need to comment, especially as no one else has.
I don’t know if you’ve taken any psychology courses- everyone should take at least one, as it is a fascinating science- but there is a defense mechanism known as projection, in which you charge others with possessing flaws that are actually yours. Your opinion is entirely based on faith. You should really do more research on this sort of thing- go to your local library and check out the ecology section. Most of the books you will find are written by scientists with data to back up their beliefs.
If you sincerely believe the data has been manipulated, organize your own study, preferably a double-blind one to prevent experimental bias, which will no doubt show up. Christians are afraid to believe anything other than what they are told, and frankly, I can’t say I blame them. If tomorrow I were to learn that there was a God, I would have no regrets, but if tomorrow you learned that there was no God, your entire life would collapse around you.
You are biased. For that matter, everyone is biased. But it is possible to be both environmentally conscious and pro-life. I am agnostic, but I am also pro-life, because I believe in the value of human life. I drive a hybrid car and shop at whole foods, among other things. I do everything I can to save the environment. I value life in all of its many forms, and I believe that your God would approve.

Anonymous – thanks for the comment. By the way, why are you anonymous? That always bothers me. And, my spam filter throws your thoughts to the side. I’m glad I didn’t just hit “mass delete” like I typically do but rather glanced down through them and found your comment. In any case, I agree I’m biased and that we all are. But I am educated in a few disciplines – theology and yes I have completed a number semesters of psychology, biology, sociology, etc. coursework as well. Mostly though my specialty is theology and I can spot false religion when I see it and what Algore and company are doing is devoting their lives to all of this – its neopaganism, humanism (a religion), some pantheism, naturalism/materialism, etc, etc, etc. They ought to be wearing clergy collars as they are far more devoted to their gods than a typical cleric. Their assertions are faith statements and Creedal in nature and based on junk science. I have scientists for a father-in-law and a brother and there is good science backing Creationism, believe me. And you don’t really even need the huge faith leaps that the social Darwinists take.
I’d challenge you to rethink this statement of yours – “If tomorrow I were to learn that there was a God, I would have no regrets, but if tomorrow you learned that there was no God, your entire life would collapse around you”
What?? It’s fully the opposite. If one who doesn’t believe in God wakes up and discovers they were wrong they will have HUGE REGRETS and some major changes to make (and hopefully there would still be time). However, if one such as I who believes in God wakes up to discover there is no God, then I/they would be merely no better off than you… without hope, SOS – save ourselves. Good luck with that, really. I do hope and pray that you’ll continue to sort out your agnostism, the evidences for a personal God are all over the Created Order. Blessings to you.

You have hit the nail squarely on the head!
I am glad to see someone else sees the environamental agenda for what it is – a religion. And to that end, it is being forced on one and all just like “they” don’t want Christianity forced on them. They are using taxpayer dollars to promote the agenda, despite evidence and truth (or the lack thereof) for their cause. Abortion is a key piece of the agenda; elimination humans at any age is a key piece; make NO MISTAKE about it.
Praise God; He is on control of ALL of it!
