It’s doubtful they’ll be catering to us this Christmas (or Easter) dumping the polar bears and replacing them with nativity imagery or a cross. Pepsi anyone?

Interesting! This stuff bends me. There are alot of European people at my workplace: Muslims, Islamic, etc. They are very open to talking about Jesus, and I have gotten to talk to several of them about Him. My workplace management doesn’t cater to Christians and they leave “religious holidays” off of the calendar because they don’t want to offend anyone! Did anyone ask if I was offended, being a Christian? No. I wondered why the Christmas tree is no longer put up in the lobby at work, and it’s the same thing: they didn’t want to offend anyone. You have to call it a holiday tree, not Christmas tree. The “holidays” are greeted with “warm holiday wishes,” “winter wishes,” etc. Hmm… Exactly what are people wishing on? A snowflake that quickly melts? Try prayer! It works!
Several years ago, while out shopping during the “holidays,” and being fed up with store clerks smiling and saying, “happy holidays,” I asked one clerk what holiday she was celebrating. She stammered and said, “I don’t know.” So, I told her it was Christmas and she acted like she had never even heard of Christmas before. She confessed to me that they (her managers) told her she had to say, “happy holidays.” She could not say, “Christmas.” This was at a store that is closed on Sundays so that the employees can “attend religious services and spend time with family.” The store clerk had it so embedded in her head to say, “happy holidays,” that she didn’t even realize what the “holiday” was. I asked the store clerk if she knew what Christmas was and she shook her head, “no.” I shared the story of Jesus’ birth with her. Yeah, that was a good thing!
At least Pepsi-Cola provides food service in the cafeteria at work so I don’t have to worry about buying Islamic moon/star shaped cookies there. Maybe Pepsi should put the star of David on their cans! Support Israel!

Hey, if it weren’t for Pepsi, we wouldn’t have Mountain Dew. And then where would the world be?!

I’ll stick with my Diet Coke. Pepsi sucks. Maybe I should go through my closet and see which country with slave labor my clothing came from…..

Why is everyone so afraid of anyone or anything that is different from themselves? You people have no idea how stupid you look to the outside world.
People are losing their homes and their jobs and their retirement. We’re fighting a two-front war along with a global war against terrorism. And you’re all worried about a company advertising to a growing community within an important market?

Justin – no I’m not just worried about a company advertising to Muslims – read more of this blog and you’ll see the battle is far larger. Many, perhaps you, are under the delusion that these people are just “different from us” on the surface. Wake up. They have declared a Holy War against us. “Stupid to the outside world??” What world do you live in?
